Question of the Week: Abundant

How are you opening up to abundance?

I'm watching my two year old son, Kai, as he experiences each moment of his day. Learning to be in the moment with him--his surprise, laughter, joy, disappointment and sadness as he discovers life. The simplicity of this act allows me to see the abundance of goodness in my life.

What other posters had to say:

not worrying, breathing, letting go, and allowing the abundance to fill the space.

Being grateful for even the smallest beauty or act of kindness...and passing it along.

By believing that giving is the only way to receive.

Gratitude, knowing in my life I have all that I need. Staying in the moment helps too.

Every day I wake up expecting a miracle... it takes quite an opening to recognize abundance when it comes in different forms every day.

not getting stuck in the past. and not getting stuck confusing someone else's business with mine.

I did a drawing and wrote an essay about finding abundance as I tackle the task of owning what my mother left me... perhaps you will enjoy reading it. http://www.life-balance.net/articles/2012/10/cutting-through-procrastina...

Acceptance of the here and now.

Quoting my mantra " I am in perfect timing with the Universe" many times a day.

realizing that i co-create my existence, & my experience is based in my perception, which i have the power to interpret , so, regardless of situational status, i can choose to view & embrace abundance. abundance is a state of mind. oh. and i live in America. we have abundance in excess compared to 90% of our fellow humans

Imagine

I have affirmations written on stickies all over my computer monitor.

Positive attitudes and energy everyday in the hopes it will spread to whomever I have contact with on any given day.

There's dents in my buns! & I can't dance!

Abundance is being grateful for all things in life. Feeling rich in life is more than about money; it is about relationships, a career that brings out the best in you, living the good life with intentions, gratitude and outcomes. When my kids were younger, we used to collect buttons. One stated "we are rich in buttons." I walk daily in feeling rich in life and again, it is not at all about the money (although money comes). It is also about "showing up" in life - bringing your best "A" game, because no one else can do it for you.

With the holiday consumerism madness, I am reminding myself not to be abundant in simplicity.
